A node canvas for shots, not prompts

Build a shot the way a compositor thinks — nodes and wires, not a text box. gen, nano, rotopaint, outpaint, i2v, r2v, upscale, comp, and a live ComfyUI node all share one board.

  • Multi-provider by design. Nano Banana on Google, FLUX and Kling on fal, LTX and SDXL on your own ComfyUI A100 — swap the backend per run.
  • Image and video are first-class. Real fps and frame probing, a scrubber with loop regions, ffmpeg posters on everything.
  • Every knob is the diff. Change one value, re-run, and the resurrection test keeps the result exactly reproducible.

Roto, matting & review

The review room: cut it, matte it, judge it

Where a take gets looked at hard. Paint-and-bezier roto, text- and point-driven SAM masking, true alpha matting, a color-managed viewer with a pixel probe and loupe, and a verdict on every take.

  • SAM2 / SAM3 segmentation. Click a point or type “the actor” and get a mask — multi-object split, and masks that track across a whole video clip.
  • Real mattes, not buzzy masks. MatAnyone refinement turns a binary mask into soft-edged alpha that holds hair and motion blur, temporally stable — at native 4K on an H200.
  • Verdicts and wedges. Approve, reject, retry — and wedge a knob across a range to read the sheet.

Studio pipeline

The backbone: shots, names, custody, delivery

Under every take is a studio. Shots and sequences with a real name grammar, a named file tree that is the store, chain of custody from ingest to delivery, and a bridge out to Nuke.

  • The named tree is the store. SEQ_NNNN identity, versions frozen on first materialization, the tape source carried in every filename.
  • Chain of custody. Our own acts, .nk scans, and a deliver/receive border ledger — logged, never remembered.
  • Nuke bridge & bill-back. The nuke node emits a real, round-trippable comp script; cost is tracked per shot for client bill-back.

Each tool owns one stage of a job. They aren’t loosely-themed apps — they share a naming grammar and a design system as real code.

Redpen — client calls

Records the client call, grabs the screenshots, and prepares the to-do list that falls out of it. The notes layer that feeds your job tracker and ftrack.

Wirecloset — ingest

The named folder tree and filename grammar, publishing, versioning from the filesystem, archive and audit. The filesystem is the source of truth.

Perstudio — create

This one. Attempts, canvas, roto and matting, wedging, learning, custody — the room where the shot actually gets made.

Shipular — deliver

Transcode and delivery: masters, deliverable specs, loudness, burn-ins and uploads. Folding in behind Perstudio’s custody border.

Keyline — the look

One token file — primitive, semantic, component — generating the CSS and Swift that make the whole family look like one thing.

Every run writes its row and its edges. Unhappy paths are first-class; the server’s error is the message you read.

Ingest → our acts → .nk scans → delivery, kept as a ledger so provenance is a lookup, not a memory.

Workflow hash + knobs + seed + inputs + env is the resurrection test — the promise that any take can be rebuilt exactly.
